Keep your eye to the sky in the month of May. Westmont Park District will take part in the 6th annual Flying 4 Kids statewide kite fly in May to help promote the sport of kite flying. We will have the IL Kite Enthusiasts come out to do demonstrations and show off their assortment of kites. At 2:00PM we will have the participants take part in the "Candy Drop," which allows the kids to collect candy that falls from the kites. If you don't have a kite, no problem, there will be opportunities at this event to make your own kite. [more]

he American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. [more]
The Fitness Club will be closed during this time to allow for maintenance repairs and cleaning. This is a yearly closing which allows us to keep our club looking sharp. [more]
